RIBA has teamed up with the Shanghai Windows Project, a series of shop installations in Shanghai's Xintiandi area.
Micro House | Liu Lubin
Liu Lubin in Beijing, alongsing Tsinghua University and Nanjing University have worked on a micro house concept. Made from reinforced fibre, this concept is modular and can be easily transported, fitting within the confines of a standard shipping container.
Xixi Artist Clubhouse | AZL Architecture
AZL Architecture, the studio run by Zhang Lei in Nanjing have recently released images of their Xixi artist clubhouse. Based in the wetlands of Hangzhou, the development is comprised of a cluster of Y shaped volumes with framed views of the park.
Riverside Park Pavilion | Vector Architects
Beijing based Vector Architects have just completed the Riverside Park Pavilion in Kunshan. Vector Architects have previously been on EightSix here and here. The multi-use space has a permeable facade which frames views over the river. The fragmented volumes interplay with the forest surroundings whilst also incorporating a sunken garden below.
