Situated in Yushu, in Qinghai province close to Tibet, the Jia Na Ma Ni Visitor Centre is a crucial building for the area which was badly damaged in the recent earthquakes. The centre will provide basic services for the residents, including a post office, food and drinks and medical services.

The building is a square from with 11 observatory platforms around the perimeter. Each platform points towards and important cultural site nearby and reflects the story of its surroundings inside.

The project was completed by TeamMinus in 2012 and was nominated for the World Building of the Year award.
