Emerging Chinese Designers’ Platform
Emerging Chinese Designers’ Platform is a new initiative by Design Shanghai 2015 and publication AD China to celebrate and support Chinese young designers. The work of 11 young designers will be showcased at the exhibition this March 27-30 as part of Design Shanghai 2015.
Neri & Hu
Founded in shanghai, neri&hu represents a new modern Chinese aesthetic. founded by designers whose intent is to spark the potential in ‘Chinese Design,’ neri&hu seeks to evoke change. Seeking top-quality materials and craftsmanship, most neri&hu products are hand made, a reflection of a place whose masters of trade can still be found waiting for patrons in the lanes of Shanghai. neri&hu is the reinterpretation of the beauty in revealing raw material where clad is traditional, or exposing an object’s frame where normally hidden, in examining history and its path, or in capturing an ordinary scene in a snapshot.

Yi Yang Yi Shang
Yi Yang Yi Sheng is known simply as Yang. The Chinese character Yang consists of two parts–a wood on the left and a sheep on the right–and symbolises the state of happiness. The designer endeavours to deliver love and happiness through his simple yet beautiful ceramic designs.
MZGF Furniture Studio
MZGF Furniture is an original Chinese furniture design brand from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, established by designer Zhao Lei in 2010.
The simple but comfortable shapes of the furniture demonstrate its design philosophy of making the most use of wood. MZGF is always focus on exploring the interesting structure of wood working and showing off the beauty of grin of wood.
All its furniture are now only sold online, as MZGF hopes to face all the clients directly, omitting all the reselling process to reduce cost, in this way, they can let more families afford solid wood furniture with high quality at a favourable price.

Blue Shanghai White
The Blue Shanghai White brand was founded in 2003 by the leading contemporary ceramic artist Haichen, after she had spent a number of years working and travelling in Europe, taking part in exhibitions around the world, and curating contemporary ceramics exhibitions. Based on these experiences, Haichen felt that, for Chinese ceramics to re-establish itself in the modern era and reclaim its traditional place as one of the world’s artistic treasures, it was necessary to first make Chinese people feel closer to art, by making it a part of their daily lives.
