We have been following the work of Macau born student designer Au Chon Hin for a while now on EightSix, but have not posted his work.

He recently completed work for the Alegria Cinema in Macau, rebranding their logo and collateral. The concept for the project was the screen – the screen represents not only Alegria Cinema but also the interaction between screen and the audience.

“??”  is written in old Chinese calligraphy on the front of the screen and  it indicates the age of Alegria Cinema and resembles the title of a film.
We think this project is fantastic, and well thought out from concept to realisation.
